In early 2017, I ran a massive troll that ended up on the top of major financial websites (Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, BGR, etc.). I invented a story saying I was gambling $250,000+ USD on Apple, hoping to make $2-5M if Apple went down after announcings its earnings. Apple went up after earnings and I "lost" everything. To make things even better, I streamed the entire thing - live. At its top, my troll was at the top of Reddit and my stream was the top watched on Youtube. This is the story of how it all came to be - why I did, how I did it, etc.

I read this on a flight to Africa to start a new trial cancer treatment and by the time I landed in South Africa I tossed my into the trash jumped on the next flight back to the US and decided that cancer can just take me because I don't want to live in a world with this author.
He only trolled people with an IQ of an ashtray, which oddly enough is the entire staff of Market Watch. Everyone knew he was a paper trader, he could not even calculate earnings if he was right correctly.
His story was weak at best of how he got the money. Then there is the whole putting on his gimp mask and streaming on youtube.
I think that Cash Me Outside girl has more talent, intelligence and writing style than this author. But I am his estranged father, so I will give it two stars and say positive things if we ever reconnect.
FYI It does come with a free paper trading account and losses, which is really nice.
Some people actually followed this guy's papertrade and lost money. Not smart of them, but passing off a papertrade as a real YOLO is just poor form. He was banned from wsb for this idiocy.

Followed wallstreetbets since before fscomeau was around so I witnessed it all first hand. Fun to read for me since I thought it was pretty hilarious seeing how many people and media outlets picked up on his latest apple trade.
I help run the subreddit where this story takes place. This guy didn't have anyone fooled, it was pretty obvious he was a (bad) troll from the start. He write this sad tale about how he "trolled the ENTIRE INTERNET" to soothe his ego after being removed from the community.
The man is a stock market genius. This is just his classic double-troll psychout. Hes just wants you believe he is an actual troll, while he actually is raking in millions a year. I did develope autism by the third chapter but definitely worth it.
Lies lies and more lies. This book serves as a thinly veiled plug for the author's other financial endeavors (Patreon, upcoming novels, and website). A large portion of the book is simply a collection of the author's posts on reddit.com. It makes one wonder if F.S. Comeau is a pathological liar or simply desperate for attention. I want my money back, best book ever!
