Quick easy to read and good practical advice.
Wish I had read this years ago. I would have been better if I had this before learning g the hard way.
As a young pastor, these books were a great read. I literally read both of them in one day, made some notes along the way, and have gained a greater perspective of where I currently am and how to approach it all going forward.
I highly recommend it and only wish I'd have read them before beginning ministry...a great resource for all ministers, but especially for those who are also young like I am.
Bought the book a couple of years ago, just because I enjoyed Wade's blog. With a minister search going on at our congregation, I read through it again this weekend. Should give our search committee a lot to think about and help guide the next minister that God has already selected to work with us.
Both books are a fantastic read for churches or ministers in transition. The author was engaging and kept me turning the pages. I was sorry the books were so short. I could have continued reading and not grown tired of his wit and wisdom.
